The New York art market thaws when May comes around— yes, there’s Frieze art fair held at Hudson Yards (May 13-17th), but the month brings with it tens of satellite fairs that are ideal for the new collector, not to mention the open-to-the-public viewings for the spring auctions at Christie’s and Sotheby’s.
